Summer Camp 16 July (Day 19)

Summer Camp 2020Day 19

SportsToday we used our community surroundings to create a stepping stone obstacle course on water. We all enjoyed having the opportunity to cool off our feet in the water.

We hurled balls onto the top of the awnings. We then used anticipation, timing, and movement to catch the ball with our scoop when it trickled down again from the awning.

We had fun aiming and shooting at goal with the scoop and ball.

We continued to have shots on goal with the hockey sticks and puck.

We played a short game of doubles tennis in the sunshine.

Lots of fun while 'social distancing' on wheels.

And we finished the day off with several games of 'Battle Pins'.

Quest Today the students created their ESCAPE ROOOM game board. They were so creative and made different styles and representations of the the rooms.

At the end everyone was so excited for they tried solving other students' ESCAPE ROOMS!

Mad Scientists The Mad Scientists collected leaf samples on a Nature Walk. They used the leaves and made a Nature Board that will show how the leaves change color, shape and texture.

The children also had a lot of fun and were challenged to use their engineering skills in making The Tallest Straw Tower.

Digital MasterpiecesGroup C1 started their day with story about ROBOTS EVERYWHERE!
Then we made our own unique robots:

We also used the Tate Kids painting app to create our own digital masterpieces.

Pre KindergartenFor the craft time, we made amazing art pieces using "salt"!

We also made play dough out of bread crumbs for the sensory time.
All of them couldn't help smiling when they tasted bread crumbs!

Kindergarten Our Thursday group had their visit to the supermarket today, deciding which fruits we should buy and use for our fruit cocktails. We tried apples, oranges, kiwi, pineapple, lemon, peach and banana!

Children made today a shaker out of photo frame,. They decorated the frame with shells and their own photo. Mouse mask was ready, too.  Also we went to buy some fruits and children made different fruits juice and tasted them. Most of the mix juices seems to be delicious!

We wish you all a nice summer holiday and see you in August again.
