Day 8
Sports
Today the weather cleared and we were able to use our beautiful new space for more floor hockey activities.
We played a game of 'foosball hockey' and lots of goals were scored.
After snack time we went inside and played several games of modified 'battle pins'
Mad Scientists
The Mad Scientists expanded a balloon by means of a chemical reaction. They mixed vinegar with baking soda and discovered that it produces gas.
We also made a cool balloon powered rocket that everyone had fun launching!
Quest
For QUEST, the students created their CODE BOOK, which contains secret information and secret codes. They practiced and became experts in using CODE WHEEL, PIG PEN CODE and INVISIBLE INK.
After their coding activities, they went around the school for The SCAVENGER HUNT!
Finally, they were all promoted and are now certified DSKI OFFICIAL DETECTIVES!
Digital Masterpieces
Today in Digital Masterpieces we continue to draw inspiration from the digital.
Just like french street artist Invader (whose work can be seen in Tokyo and all over the world) we created some of our own pixel art.
Pre Kindergarten
We started a day with a "BINGO" song! We used sticks and had fun making various rhythms.
Also we had "Snow Party" after singing "Snow Flake" song and read a story about snow.
We couldn't bring real snow but it looks very real, right? They observed how little portion of snow grow bigger as they pour water in it. They were so happy to play with snow in the middle of summer!

Kindergarten
We read the story "We Are Going to The Bear Hunt" and the children made their own telescope.
Then, we went to hunt for bears in the school building and found.....
