Quest
Spot the Difference
Just like real detectives, the students noticed things. They looked at pictures and spotted the difference in each picture.

Scavenger Hunt
They all gained their OFFICIAL DETECTIVE badge!!
Mad Scientists
We went for a Nature Walk to collect leaves of different sizes and patterns.
For our experiment we made a stick man made of ink float! Because of this cool experiment we discovered that most materials have different densities.
Digital Masterpieces
Today in Digital Masterpieces we continue to draw inspiration from the digital.
Just like french street artist Invader (whose work can be seen in Tokyo and all over the world) we created some of our own pixel art.
We also used the Tate Kids painting app to create our own creature inspired by some digitally produced sounds.
Sports
Today we performed floor hockey skills. This included ball control with a hockey stick, passing and striking.
After we became familiar with the basic hockey skills we then played a game of foosball hockey.
We then moved inside and did some yoga with Popcorn the Dolphin
We finished off the day with thrills on wheels. The students even had a superman and superwomen contest
Early Years
Kindergarten had a lot of fun today painting designs on paper plates, then using water guns to make the colours run. We wanted to see what happened and what the new design would look like!
We read the story "The little cloud" and children made their own clouds collage with pink, green, white and blue sponges.
Pre-Kindergarten
We sang songs during morning circle - Summer Song, How's the weather? and others We did sensory play using beans of different colours. We listened to the story ' We're going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. We made our own binoculars and hunted for the bear who in turn chased us back to the classroom. We will continue bear hunting on Monday!
